• Yealink handset with cord
• Ethernet cable
• Desk phone stand
• (Optional) Power cable, if purchased with the desk phone (Use a power cable only if your network does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Desk Phone Setup Instructions
Note: If your network or internet connection currently uses an Ethernet cable connected directly to your PC or docking station, you will need to reconfigure the connection to route through the desk phone first, then pass through to the associated device.

1.
Locate the desk phone and its supporting stand.

2.
Slide the stand into the slots located on the back of the desk phone. If done correctly, the desk phone should appear as shown here.

3.
Locate the handset and its corresponding telephone cord.

5.
Connect the long end of the telephone cord to the handset port on the back of the phone, as shown here.

6.
You can now place the handset on the rest station located on the side of the desk phone.

8.
Once you have located the main Ethernet cable, disconnect it from the current device (docking station or desktop computer) and plug it into the “Internet” port located on the back of the desk phone. Note: This will temporarily disconnect your desktop computer or laptop from the internet.

9.
If your Ethernet cable provides Power over Ethernet (PoE), it should power on the device and display the “Welcome” screen shown here. If the device does not power on after connecting, we will need to plug in the power cable that came with the desk phone. Note: If the desk phone powered ON, skip steps 10 through 13.

10.
Locate the power cable as shown here.

11.
Plug the power cable’s connector into the back of the desk phone, as shown here.

If done correctly, the phone should now be powered ON, as shown here. Note: Allow time for the phone to reboot and update.

14.
Now that the desk phone is powered ON, locate the additional Ethernet cable provided in the box.

15.
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the PC port on the back of the desk phone. If done correctly, it should appear as shown here.

16.
Plug the other end of the black Ethernet cable into either the docking station or desktop computer, depending on which device originally had the Ethernet connection. If done correctly, the Docking Station Connection should appear as shown here.

Desktop Computer Connection — Note: Connecting the additional Ethernet cable to your docking station or desktop computer is essential for workstation internet connectivity.

17.
After completing all the previous steps, your desk phone should now display a green handset icon with your extension number, as shown here.
